Technology review – CIEH
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) is the professional membership body representing environmental health professionals across the UK and internationally.
Membership challenge
As part of its wider organisational development, CIEH wanted to review whether its existing technology ecosystem was fit for the future. Multiple digital systems supported membership, content and customer engagement, but the organisation needed an independent assessment of how these platforms worked together, where improvements could be made, and how future investment could best support members and organisational objectives.
What we did
We conducted a comprehensive review of CIEH’s technology infrastructure, assessing its CRM, CMS and wider digital ecosystem against the organisation’s strategic priorities and member needs. Through stakeholder interviews, workshops, desk research and analysis of existing processes, we mapped current technology, data flows and operational requirements.
Drawing on our specialist knowledge of membership organisations, we evaluated future technology options, identified opportunities to improve efficiency and member experience, and developed a practical roadmap to support future digital transformation.
