Membership challenge

With a growing and increasingly diverse international membership, the Methanol Institute recognised that a one size fits all approach was no longer sustainable. The organisation wanted to review how membership was structured, ensure benefits reflected members’ differing needs, and establish a model that would support long term growth.

What we did

We delivered a strategic programme combining member consultation with business modelling. Through engagement with members, we explored perceptions of value, future expectations and organisational priorities. These insights were combined with strategic analysis to develop a membership framework that aligned member needs with long term organisational objectives.

Impact

This work delivered:

The Methanol Institute now has the strategic insight and evidence to strengthen member value, support future growth and make informed decisions about the evolution of its membership model.

This work has given us the strategic clarity and member insight to reshape our model in a way that’s fair, globally relevant and commercially sustainable.
